About Empire Tattoo

Empire Tattoo started in Clementon, New Jersey in 2008. Soon after the company expanded, opening more locations in Somerville, Massachusetts, Quincy, Massachusetts, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We never stop growing with quality, award winning, published tattoo artists and piercers who not only love their trade but strive to achieve only the best tattoos and piercings for each individual client. Empire Tattoo studios are staffed to handle everything from daily walk in tattoos to custom artwork by appointment. We offer every style of tattooing from Portraits, American Traditional, Japanese, New School, Black and Gray, Realism, Custom Lettering and more. We have flash at the studio for you to choose from, but you are welcome to bring in any reference image you have or simply stop in for a free consultation with one of our artists and we will help you bring your tattoo idea to life. All of our artists can conquer tattoos from the size of a quarter to full sleeves and back pieces and will show you the same care and attention to detail no matter the size.

Empire Tattoo locations are open 7 days a week and are fully staffed at all times. Each tattooer does keep their own schedule, if you are seeking a specific tattooer it is always best to call the studio prior to coming in for a walk in or schedule your appointment in advance. Empire Tattoo studios in Pittsburgh, PA and Clementon, NJ offering body piercing have a body piercer available at all times.

We strive to cover all your needs, carrying clothing and aftercare products to care for your new tattoo or piercing. Our store managers are at your disposal over the phone or in person. Each manager can answer any questions or concerns you might have about pricing, finding reference, referring you to which tattooer will be best suited to your tattoo needs, even simple things such as hours of operation. Keeping our clients satisfied with all ranges of styles of tattoos we keep a constant flow of “guest artists”, whom are tattooers from all over the world who specialize in countless styles. We aim for only the best in cleanliness at all Empire’s. We have an autoclave on each premises to ensure hospital grade sterilization which is spore tested monthly. Each store is cleaned daily to maintain our strict environmental health standards. Not only are our artists licensed in each state and county, they are trained in First Aid, CPR and biomedical waste disposal to insure each client’s safety and the up most in a clean environment.
