Michael Heston
Michael Heston is finishing his tattoo apprenticeship under the skilled direction of Matt Doherty and is looking forward to joining the talented crew at Empire Tattoo, Clementon. He is a self-taught illustrator and pulls inspiration from both classic and urban art. His illustrative style fuses the line quality of art nouveau with the intensity of comic book art. Michael’s work has always been inspired by nature and animals but he also enjoys using pop culture references to create nostalgic imagery. Michael is excited to see the style artwork he’s spent years developing translate to tattooing and is eager to continue learning the craft and evolving as an artist.
